It runs a state-of-the-art Roformer separation model on a GPU, the same class of model professional stem tools use. Results depend heavily on how the track was mixed: a lead vocal sitting dead centre over a wide backing comes out clean, while heavy reverb, doubled leads or harmonies panned off-centre can leave traces. Mono recordings separate noticeably worse than stereo.
